"I have to say I was a bit reluctant to read this due to my love/annoyed relationship with religion. But it’s a very easy read and not at all in your face Christianity/religion. Tons of bible verses to look at which is a great reference when you want to dig in. The stories incorporated in were very helpful and brought actual real life examples of forgiveness. The psychology and science woven in gave it great balance. If you are struggling with forgiveness of others, yourself or being forgiven definitely pick this book up and get to work."

"This book is for everyone. And I mean everyone. While we might not have as tragic an incident that occurred in some of the examples in the book- everyone harbors some type of ill well or non-forgiveness towards someone in their life. That type of mental weight only hurts the one harboring the non forgiveness attitude as clearly explained in this book. Masterfully written with Christian principles as well as non-biblical principles, Steve Schott does an amazing job weaving the two together and providing not only the reasons why to forgive but also the steps on how to do so."

"I just finished reading "Choose to Forgive" for the second time. Mr. Schott has written an easy to read, yet truly valuable life Owner's Manual about one of the hardest things for human beings to do - forgive others and themselves. I really liked how he started each chapter of the book with a biblical verse and a secular quote, both aligned in messaging the chapter's relevance. I found this book to be relevant, to the point, and very applicable to a modern life. In a society of divisiveness and keeping score who wronged who, this is a gift to relieve yourself and live a better life. I encourage everybody to invest in themselves and get themselves a copy of this book to read, then to refer to as often as needed. Well done Mr. Schott, we needed this!"
